MacOS 27 Beta 3 Ships Without Apple Intelligence Features

Apple pushed macOS 27 Developer Beta 3 to enrolled Macs this week, the third test build of Golden Gate before the operating system’s public release later this year. The update is available through Software Update for any Mac enrolled in the developer beta program.

Apple has not published a full changelog for this build. The company describes the update as focused on bug fixes, performance improvements, and stability, which follows the same pattern seen in earlier beta cycles across its platforms this summer.

What developers are actually testing

The more telling detail is what remains unfinished. Apple Intelligence features, including Siri AI and Visual Intelligence, are still being tested and may not be fully available to all users in this build.
