What You Need to Know

  • Nimble’s SharePower splits into two 5,000mAh modules that magnetically attach together for shared charging.
  • Device delivers 35W combined when paired or 20W per module when separated for simultaneous charging.
  • 20W per module falls short of iPhone 17 Pro fast charging requirements and cannot fully charge Pro Max alone.
  • LCD display shows percentage when separated and switches to combined total automatically when magnetically reunited.

Nimble’s SharePower arrives as a straightforward answer to a common travel frustration: two people, one power bank, and the inevitable negotiation over who charges first. The device splits into two separate 5,000mAh modules that attach magnetically when used as a single unit, delivering up to 35W combined to fast charge an iPhone when paired, and 20W per half when separated.

The physical design shows some thought. The left half carries a 7-inch braided USB-C cable that doubles as a lanyard and tucks away when the two halves are joined. The right half has a shorter pop-out USB-C cable that sits flush against an iPhone’s bottom. Each half also carries an additional USB-C port, meaning four devices can charge simultaneously when the bank is split in two.

The charging speeds have a real limitation worth understanding. At 20W per module, the SharePower falls short of what iPhone 17 Pro models require for full fast charging, which demands higher wattage. The 5,000mAh per side also cannot fully charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max on its own, though the combined 10,000mAh can.

Battery Display and Build

The LCD display handles the split-mode logic cleanly. When the two halves are separated, the right module shows a percentage reading while the left uses indicator lights. Reunite them and the display switches to the combined total automatically. A green PD light confirms when fast charging is active.

In testing, both modules charged at advertised speeds. One audible quirk surfaced: a faint electronic sound during charging, present whether one module was in use or both were paired together.

The SharePower measures 2.8 by 3.1 inches, sits an inch thick, and weighs 7.6 ounces. It comes in white, blue, and pink, and sells for $80 through Nimble’s website and Apple.com.
